I am a data scientist in the renewable energy sector, working on machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in the solar space at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. Before going into renewables, I worked in the energy industry as an engineer/data scientist at BP America. I have significant experience in database architecture, data engineering, and data visualization. I hold joint undergraduate degrees in mathematics and mechanical engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and a master’s degree in computer science with an emphasis in machine learning from Georgia Institute of Technology.
